Archive : Weeding

We removed the tomato plants inside the low tunnel hoophouse to make way for our experimental winter garden. We also added more compost and will be hand tilling.  We have never used a tilling machine inside the green house and planning on keeping that way.   Tillers pelting rocks at the plastic roof can be very expensive. We will be planting our fall/winter crops on Sept. 19.
