Archive : Food Bank Donations

We have donated another harvest to the University of Guelph Foodbank. We  donated 20 lbs of organic potatoes, 10 lbs of broccoli, 20 lbs of Chantenay carrots, a dozen lettuce heads, Italian viking spinach, bell peppers and asian greens.

We made another donation of Saladmix varieties to the UofG CSA Foodbank. Foodbank staff were pleased with our tomatoes donation and was saying that the Foodbank beneficeries really enjoyed our Organic heirloom varieties. Hope they enjoy our organic greens as well.

We harvested them last night.  We got Golden Mountain, Chadwich Cherry, Yellow Pear and Hillbillies tomatoes. We will continue to support the University of Guelph Central Student Association Food Bank.  They provide food to students with emergency needs. Since, we are all proud UoG alumni and would like to support our school’s  program. We have decided to donate regularly with whatever excess we produce in the field. Here [Read More...]
